hey guys , me mates vr senator has crapped itself and cracked this crossmember thing in the rear of her car but cams figure out exact name. any help Will the great here is a pic of it

its the large crossmember circled there. this os the left side its cracked on the right side.

...diff mount part of the rear cross member assembly (yeah its the bit with the sway bar perched on top)
VR/VS are known for breaking the cross member but usually not where the diff mounts up

thats a bad crack and there is no way I would be driving the car with that

They are pretty common to crack in the v8's usually at the front where the k frame is moulded, go and grab another rear k frame and put it in. There is no point in welding the old 1 up as it will break again in 12 months
