My partner is flying into Melbourne Thursday morning and needs a ride to Cranbourne. I'm wondering if anyone would be free to give her a ride. Not expecting a freebie, we are willing to pay a reasonable price. The issue that may be prohibitive is the time. Her flight lands at 6.15am. I may be a bit optimistic in my request but I'm hoping there may be someone willing to drive her.

Bugger! I would if I was available mate. Sorry. Cranbourne is too far for me as I work in the CBD.

Best bet is probably going to be Uber. Cheapest would be SkyBus to Southern Cross and then a train to Cranbourne from there.

I thought about Uber. I'll look it up.

*edit*

Just downloaded the app on my phone, looks to be a very convenient service. I like it. The app estimates the fair between $92 and $120, cheaper than a taxi.

Uber is AWESOME!!! Way better than a taxi. Cleaner car, nicer driver etc.

The only thing is can't be picked up at the airport. Walk to the Holiday Inn or the McDonalds instead.

Here's a code for $20 credit when booking: RIDEMELBS128

Book a Limo, should only cost $100-$150 for a prebooked service.

Dont let the taxi drivers see an uber if she catches one, the melbourne airport taxi drivers are ####ing psychos and they will attack an uber driver.

As far as I know the Uber cars are unmarked aren't they? She is just getting picked up by a "friend"

The airport map says 7 minute walk.
