Need help with info

Hi hi everybody, just need a little bit of info. scanned my car it passes all the tests, but when I do individual scans on the engine I am getting a error code inlet manifold runner controller (imrc) solenoid failed. Where is this located? I’m confused have attached photo of error Thanks for your help ve v6 LLT

The data on the screen says VE.
Are we talking LY7 V6 VE?
What device are you using there?

Has any work recently been done on the car?

Hi there yeah that’s my old car sold. It got a new one now VE Calais 2010 model v6 3.6 llt has had the time changed done few months back and this comes up in the menu. Can’t switch it on or off and it’s now saying failed, so annoyed but got me confused. And using ThinkDiag software and my iPad for this scan , but also have a tech 2

it’s not coming up with a number it’s just under one of the menu’s

For us to start getting somewhere you need a different interface. One that will give the fault code rather than a description. There can be multiple causes on those faults and not having specific codes only extends the rabbit hole.

I will scan again with the tech 2
