New rig VR Statesman (caprice goodies)

To sunroof or not to ? I have a spare vn aftermarket sunroof still in car. Work great and i will be wrecking the vn. I would really like to do it myself to save cash but man thinking about it is scary. Does anyone know rough price to get it fitted by a pro in sa ?

When I was looking at getting one in my stato noone would touch it only way they'd do it was if I bought a new one which is like $2300

garnish is fitted lights have arrived just not fitted yet progress has been slow

awesome, it's coming along well. I love the woodgrain dash pad, wouldn't mind one of those myself.

does your statesman have the factory exhaust? mine has twin tips, I'm not sure if this is how they came from the factory as I haven't been able to find any info on what it should have, and I've yet to look under the car to see what it's got.

yeah it got standard exhaust which is single cat to twin muffles back into single muffler keeping it quiet till I'm off my ps

I think mine has a aftermarket one because it has got a tone to it, but I'm tempted to try and go quieter.

I reckon ill go with a twin dump tip when I fit a loud exhaust but tip on there is the standard stato berlina calais tip. depends how loud you like ur six to be my calais has 2 mufflers and still has tiny note but I'm happy with that

seeing as it's a 6, I don't want to be one of those dicks who tries to make their 6 sound like a 8. it's also a statesman, they are supposed to be smooth and quiet cruisers imo.

I know what you mean man. I only put exhaust on my calais cause its manual find it easier to drive can feel revs better
