So today I put new front struts, strut top bearing, brakes, swaybar links, rack boots and tie rod ends in my 98 VT SS I used the stranded springs but now the car seems to be sitting 1-2 inchs higher is this normal? Will it really settle back down that much?

Strut top bearings when new will make the front sit a little higher, as it wears it will drop lower, I noticed the same on my vz when I did them

Aren't SS springs the same as king spring lows?

No.
SS springs or Fe2 are the same across the board and are approx 50mm higher than "Superlows"

Ok so I just want a set of stranded 30mm lower king springs. That will drop my ss 30mm lower in the front?
