no constant power ??

just installed a deck into my 99 vt calais... everything is wired right but every time i turn the car off the deck re sets.. there is no constant power ?? ive tested every single wire in the main wiring loom and nothing comes back as constant power ?? but there was a deck in there before that worked fine... im so confused right now ? ive tried swapping yellow and red as well but thats a no go... so what else could it be ? where can i get a constant power line from ??

Check fuses.

are you saying the deck stays on? or it does turn off but once ACC is switched back on, everything has to be re-tuned?

constant on the car side could be also be orange/black, orange/white and orange/purple not just yellow.

Did you disconnect the battery before you installed the new deck????
If not you probably blew the fuse:bomb:while re wiring it..

yep checked all the fuses ended up swapping yellow and red and it worked cheers for the help guys
