Hey guys, I've got a bit of an issue here.
I tried to bypass the relay on the low speed thermo fan and ended up grounding out one of the plugs.
since then I've lost power to the bcm and ecu which has caused all kinds of issues.
no power to the fuel pump, electric windows, central locking, when I go to turn the car over it cranks once of twice and just cuts off.
I believe I have shorted out something..however all the fuses are fine and can't seem to track down when the fault is now.
any help is appreciated.

When you say you have checked the fuses,
Just visual, or with a multimeter?
As some fuses can look ok, but be faulty.
But a physical check with a multimeter is the best way to confirm they are ok.

This is were you may need to back probe the cables, to see there the fault is located.
Process of elimination.

Unfortunately I don’t have a multimeter, just a test light and visual inspection.
When you say back prove the cables, id have no idea where to start..the loom has quite a decent amount in there and I’m assuming I’d need a multimeter to do this?
thanks for the reply any ideas and help is appreciated :)

I learned the other day, that there are resettable circuit breakers in some cars, and I’m fairly sure the Commodores have these. I’ll need to go back and check. They are silver. This just jogged my memory. Apparently to reset them you remove them and push them back in.
