wheel bearings replaced... noise still there...
although, I have found out that the noise is not only there while braking, it is there when driving slowly through carparks etc. I am thinking that it is possibly there all the time and I cannot hear it due to the roar of the engine... however, I am still confused and desperate to work out where it is comming from...
