Nut wont tighten or loosen??

There should be 8 5mm socket head cap screws holding it on. Be carefull of the viton seal under the plenum lid. It's re-usable, recess in the plemun lid for it to sit in, but can be a bit fiddly to re-fit if you take it out. Squash it in tight from where you start to re-fit it so as to cram it all in in reference to the total length of it, it's all one piece.

r holden the only ppl that have these theads or can i get some from somewhere else other than a wreckers which might b my cheapest option?


A good fasteners shop would have all sorts of all threads and bolts etc...

like who? fastners r sold everywhere..... do u mean somewhere like a hardware store? auto store? or somthing? mayb i;ll have 2 take 1 of these theads out n take it 2 1 of those places. i'll try have a look on the weekend and take the plenum off n see wats goin on thanx 4 that info troy :thumbsup:

No I don't mean Bunnings or Autobarn. There are specialist fastener places around. There is one near my place that sells everything nuts, bolts, all threads in varying thread types and high tensile ones too.

Look up fasteners in the yellow pages online?

Oh yeah, take it to a place to match the thread up. If you haven't got any fasteners shops around, try Autobarn or Supercheap auto as they have a half decent range usually and you can match the thread up on their nut board thing. Only bad thing about that is you usually need to buy a whole pack of 4 or more.
