OBD II Scanning

Hey lads,

I've finally moved into the 21st century. So questions:

1) What is a good app for fault scanning/recovery on Andriod.
2) Will this connector work: ThinkGeek :: Kiwi Bluetooth Android Phone Car Diagnostic Kit

Any advice along the lines of 'that's stupid, get this instead' please say, I really don't know what to be looking for but this looked the easiest best option since I have a Galaxy Nexus and will be getting the Nexus 7 so this looked a cool little way to pull the information.

Me too been waiting 2 weeks already haha. Bit of a gamble buying from Hong Kong but for $60 it isn't a huge risk.

the kiwi wifi i believe u can also run other apps like dash command and others so u can see all the real time info like revs etc.. but im sure one of the others on here with more tech info would be of more help. bigboss comes to mind.

I use this interface ScanTool.net LLC - OBDLink MX Scan Tool | OBD Interface | App Accelerator - ScanTool.net. Is Bluetooth and was quite expensive but is very small...about half the size of a cigarette packet and compatible with various software.

I've got the $20 Bluetooth one for my android phone and tablet I use the app called torque it works very well

Try using alOBD, it deletes all error code faults and can scan your car too. All you need is a Bluetooth dongle, this is what I bought a year ago:
