OBD Intake Temp Sensor Location

I am playing around with a data logger and ipad/phone dongle with my OBD port in the VF and I would be interested in understanding where the ECU exactly obtains the reading for the intake temperature ?

Is it inside the plenum or at the MAF ?? Does anyone know ?

If i am not mistaken its located inside the MAF

yes its a part of the maf, if its getting good cold air u should be close to ambient when driving at speed, once at idle if sitting for ages it could get up to 80+ deg
