I want to buy a android 2 din stereo head unit Apple play or similar with obd function to read fault codes and tell me fuel consumption that will fit into my console. But I also read that you can't connect obd to pre 2005 ? commodores
But I also read somewhere that I can fit a elm327 obd with wifi head unit will pick up the diognostics
Any info will be appreciated cheers

As long as its Obd2 it will work. Obd1 or ALDL will not work with the Ls1

Cheers mate sorry for the late reply bought a new phone and lost everything from my old phone. I thought it would work from what I had read but I wanted a second opinion from one of you guys who know what their talking about
I'm about to fit a dig options head unit tomorrow so I'll put some feed back on here as I noticed someone was asking the wether any one had once again thank you
