I've got the Maxi Diag Elite MD802 from Autel
It's a great unit and it has communicated with everything I've plugged it into so far
Yeah fantastic tools, I have the DS808
Thanks guys, the Maxi Diag Elite MD802 from Autel will do me to.
Mate vt/vx commodore v6s are not obdII. Yes they have the obdII plug but do not run the protocol. So those elm327 will not work.
Go on eBay and buy a aldl cable and use Tunerpro RT. You can find fault codes, reset srs, even write custom bin files to ur ecu.
Not many people realise it’s 1.5 tho.
I came in to say this and save you a few bucks. I've got an elm if you want it lol but it's useless for VT and VX. I do however have a bunch of software programs for your computer that came with the device and I would expect at least some of them would work with other devices like tech2 etc so once you get your device if the software is inadequate/incompatible/boring then I can hook you up with copies if you want.
