OE Commodore Wheel Weights?

Hi all,

I'm on the look out for a 18x8 wheel for zee VY.

I found a thread where some of you folk were reporting the weight of the stock OE VF Redline rims, has anyone got data on older, VX - VZ Wheels?

I've found some CV8 Monaro wheels that look the tits on the gumtree, but if there is a known lighter OE ~commodore wheel in that size I'll hang out for them.

Not having a go, but why? They'll all be about the same weight and construction and won't make not a lot of difference unless you're tracking the thing (even then...).

The lightest OE Commodore wheel is probably a 15" steely.

I'm looking for a second set of wheels for some semi slicks. I figured if there was an odd varient that was significnatly lighter, I'd save the coin and aim for those. But yep, doesnt appear to be a great deal of difference so I'll just find something I like the look of
