I just got my VY SS, i want to lower it, but i need the suspension to be adjustable as i go to the snow during winter and i need to fit on snow chains. I'm thinking of going for coilovers. Are they capable of raising the car as high/higher than standard? Also, are they my only option? I need to raise it as high as stock to fit on the chains, and i want it sitting nice and low all other times.
Also, the VY is a series 1 SS. I was just wondering if it has the FE2 suspension? How do i check?

Thanks!

if its stock suspension it should have the fe2 standard, also under the bonnet where the id plates r it should say fe2 under susp.
iv got a vy srz1 ss as well and iv got the fe2 factory.

Most coilovers will give you about 3 inches of height adjustment, so 76mm. Including up to stock height (non fe2).

What do people think of:
D2 coilovers?
Tein coilovers?
...anything else?

Thanks.
