It took him ages coz there was problems with the air flow meter communicating with the software, he ended up making a custom one because even and LS7 airflow meter wasn't good enough. I'm in Yarrawonga on the Vic nsw boarder.

Hang on a minute, this is a holden 5L block right ????

Why does it have a air flow metre ???
Why why one from a ls7 ??? I mean is a ls7 MAF sensor any different to one from a LS 1,2 or 3

Your should have

1 air temp sensor
2 idle control motor
3 manifold air pressure AKA MAP sensor (2bar)
4 throttle position sensor
5 water temp sensor
6 if it's HSV knock sensor
7 and sensor on dizzy

And even if it's all been converted to a LS style ECU, isn't the first thing u do to that type of system is throw away the MAF sensor for a mafless tune

Yep ok, just had to check on that

learn something knew ever day

I read back through your old thread before u installed blower, and your heads have been deck massively, a stock set like u mentioned and a thick head gasket should lower ur comp a fer bit witch would help massively

Any word about ur comp issue with cylinder 6 ???

So far the mechanic thinks he's narrowed it down it either the lifters are rooted or the valves are bent. Or both.....
He's got a far bit on this week so it's going back next week and he's gonna do all the tests to see if the valves are rooted. If that's the case I may as well look into lowering the comp while the heads are off

Are you sure you haven't blown your head gasket into your valley? I did this a while ago and didn't have any comp on cylinder 8, it ran alright and was drivable but felt like a v6, pulled it apart and hey presto, it was a blown head gasket. Have mls goodies now, and so far so good
