I have just done an oil change plus filter on the VZ, ( with the usual 6.5Litres) but on looking at this Penrite site
https://www.datateck.com.au/Lube/PenriteAus/
they state 7.3 litres with filter ( filter which holds not much ).
Anyone here can explain the difference ?

After a bit more looking, Penrite seem to have varying capacities for different models with the alloytech. Confusement. Think I will stick with the owners manual recommendation.
Next alternate fact ..... "Our refill capacities are just approximates." Hmmm?

The correct dip stick doesn't lie!

VZ Crewman, VZ Cross 8, & ya mum.
I dropped almost 7ltrs in mine the last few changes.
No issues.
It has enjoyed some liqui-moly Ceratec.
Noticeable difference, smoother, quieter. I think it was Youtube's "Project Farm" that tested it for "product lies" and it worked.

The filter on the Aloytech is by far the most easy filter to change on any engine I've changed a filter on.
And relatively cheap insurance to keep it cleaner.
I buy them in bulk and change them every 2,000 k's as my LY7 was full of crap,
However, its looking alot better now,
Filter every 2,000 k's
Diesel Oil every 6,000 k's

Its running smooth as,
You will see the amount of crap the filter catches, VERY surprising !
