i always recommend an engine oil flush before a change, even though theres risks of clogging the pickup etc, it makes for a much smoother/quieter running motor.

I'm not game to flush my 5L. Too much yucky black sh%t in the top end. My VN on the other hand is cleaner than my parents' VY!!

I tried a 10-40..seemed a shocker-more engine noise.
Then went to HPR15 and stuck to that. Engine sounds great now. And stays cleaner longer.
92 5litre standard.
I love Penrite!!!! Especially in vks
