Oil Oopsy

So I just did the usual 10,000 km oil change when I noticed to my annoyance that Repco had sold me Diesel oil. Same rating (10W 40) that I usually put in but says for diesel engines. Is this a problem ie don't start the car, have it towed immediately? Or is it meh, 10W 40 is 10W 40, don't worry about it? Somewhere in between? And yes, I know, silly me should have checked...

will be ok just has more cleaning detergents in it for diesels just go back to usual oil at next service will be fine and maby cleaner

I like to use diesel oil on poorly serviced engines.

Do changes every 5000 using diesel oil and you’ll have a like new engine in 20000.

No problem, I too use diesel oil on petrol motors to clean out the crank case.
