Oil pump differences

G'day

Looking at the Buick and Ecotec oil pump and front covers there is a lot of similarities and a few differences.
Does anybody know if the Ecotec oil pump is better? or just a bit different?

Pumps are pretty much the same theyd bolt up to a buick cover but i doubt theyre any betteryou could shim up your standard pump if your chasing more oil pressure
