Oil sensor has crapped out repco n sca have them only on special order
I have a wreckers 2 km from home
The leak is a good drip
Will it be ok to drive that short distance
I'll grab a new one in the week
And does anyone know the spanner size
Also will a VX Y compatible

If it is only a drip do you mean when running or just sitting? If it doesn't increase from a drip when the engine is running then a couple of k shouldn't matter. I drove my VXII about 4k with the sump ripped open by a big rock with no oil at all till I could find a spot to pull off the one lane dirt road. If you are worried add a couple hundred mil of oil above full. The wrecker should have the right size spanner there and I'm sure if you ask nice they will let you use it to change the sensor at their yard.

eBay has them with overnight freight. Repco should be overnight too. TBH a SH one could end up leaking as it's a common problem.

Been to the wreckers got one off a vy replaced it there
