Extractors aren't that hard on the VE. Surprisingly, the LHS is harder than the RHS, opposite to the VT-VZ where the LHS takes about 10 minutes.

Hardly a comparison in price then is it? You would never be able to get that work done at a shop for that price.

yes,did my own extractors and exhaust at home on a Saturday with a trolley jack, car stands and a basic tool kit.the hardest bit was reconnecting the o2 sensor on the left side as it only just reaches the plug behind the left head.should have got an extension o2 cable

The RHS just needs the steering shaft to be undone from the rack and the extractors slide straight in. Remove the spark plugs too.

The LHS needs the plastic plenum box to be undone and moved up a bit for the extractors to go in. They go in from the top. Undo the plastic clips that hold the trim along the bottom of the windscreen, undo the 4 nuts that hold the box to the body, then slide the box up about 50mm and it will give you enough clearance to drop the extractors in. It will still be tight though.

Thanks Notanabbafan,

Ive been doing alot of reading and watching alot of videos... one common theme is emerging....

xforce is droney. (and videos I watched they sounded abit too tinny for my liking)

Im looking for a deep burble note, a video of the kpm systems sounded choice.
I know Notanabbafan you sell Manta.

Can anyone else recommend a non-drone deep burble sounding exhaust?

you have to remember the videos you are seeing are the old xforce systems, the new systems are a lot different,

pop down one day and ill take you for a drive in a car with a dual 3in stainless xforce
