$7.2M in track upgrades = probably the real cost was much much less with the difference probably going to a GM O/S subsidiary to squirrel away. Same deal for the $8.7M emissions lab. They are a multinational after all
As is, Holden has real liabilities in terms of product support so hopefully the government won’t allow GM to sell off everything and leave a worthless Holden shell behind to carry out those obligations, with the only option to deregister the business when the obvious failure occurs...
Really, the government should seize their assets and place them in escrow to ensure these shits meet their legal obligations.... but both side of government side with big business... so I suspect it’s going to be James Hardy all over again
