The 2 wire ones are better than the 1 wire ones?

YES. why otherwise would holden fit em if they weren't better? as i mentioned above. all sensors need a good clean earth, that way they provide the best consistant signal to the ecu. if you have poor earthing it's going to provide a erratic signal to the ecu as the resistance changes/fluctuates . this is true for any sensor fitted to the engine

22 wire ones are cheaper than the 1 wire ones! so i dont see the point when a 2 wire will do the job!

Are you sure? The 1 wire o2 sensors were cheaper than the 2 wire ones at Repco, Holdens may be different I guess?
