Wow, the tint doesnt really look that dark in these pics! :O

Dont worry about those shitty superchargers, they're not that great. Need a proper one like mine! :p

Secondly why you installing a boost pressure guage? o_O

yeah the tints only good at night time when its not needed lol

the boost gauge is to measure the manifold preasure. you dont need a turbo or supercharger for them.

Project Piller Gauges

Project Piller Gauges

Will be adding details to the piller gauge project over the next week or two depending how lazy i decide to be.
For anyone interested in installing a piller pod then this post may or may not help.

Will be easier to tell if my 280xxx engine decides to break down before the worst happens.
The gauges that will be fitted are smoke gauges so the dials are only visable when there is power to the light inside them.
There are two reasons for adding the switches.
1. If? they are too bright for when I am driving at night.
2. So hoons dont see them at night and want to attract some un-wanted attention to this safe driver.

Heres the progress so far.

2" Tripple Piller Pod $27
2" Gauges $15 each X 3
Plastic Paint $16
Switches $2 each X 3

Pod with holes drilled to fit switches.

Isn't the sucking sound going to get annoying since you've got the vacuum line running up the pillar? I know with the boost gauge i'm looking at i'll definatly be going electric type. Keep the vac line in the engine bay.

BTW, whats the bottom guage? I can't read it. I know you've got Boost and Oil Temp. But what else?

Also, i understand about the boost guage for manifold pressure, but with a standard ecotec it will hardly move!

I've heard a few installs that you can tell, even though they've tried really hard to not get any leaks. But, be good to see yours.
