HID's are well worth it, espercially with the projector... 6000k is the whitest available...

hey ive never seen ur thread before now looks like its come a long way... as for the truck filters yeah they have the same type of mesh as what you have in ur grilles... (used to be a diesel mechanic)... if you go to a local truck mechanics they will have old filters laying around and shouldnt have a problem with givving you as many as you need to do the bottom part... good luck with it
