Hi just wondering what the fine is for driving a prohibited vehicle while being on your p plates?

(Cars at workshop, driving around my grandads WH V8 statesman (stock) in the mean time since he barely uses it)

Cheers...

I thought you lost your licence if you drove a prohibited vehicle.

Ring the appropriate authority for clarification, we have no P Plate laws in NZ

Just because your grandad has a stock V8 and does not drive it, does not mean you can if you are restricted.
Have a look on the VicRoads website.

.. all V8s are banned for P-platers in Vic

def 3 points if caught and I can't remember if the fine is either about $440 or $740

and they go harder if caught and NO p-plates are shown

You'll be fine, just carry a jar of vaseline for when the cops catch you and bend you over
