What was your process and where did you get the paint from?

cheers mate

all i did was buy one can of heat resistant primer (clear coat) and one can of red heat resistant paint from supercheap. Cleaned down and wiped over engine cover, gave it a light sanding with some wet n dry then 2 coats of primer and 4 coats of paint with light sand in between

Red looks good. did it for a mate in his VT a while back. will be doing the cover in my SSV very soon (when i can be bothered, work is flat out at the moment.) i'm thinking probably do the outer sides Gloss red and do down the centre gloss black and do the embossed writing either in a crome or at least silver. will post pics when done
