Ok my dash is currently sitting on the front porch while im doing my climate control... So I figured I will leave it til tomorrow and paint it black and blue!

So... What do I use?
How do I prime it?
Clear coat?
What brand paints/vinyl dye?
Clean it with metho first?

Basically I was gonna use metho to clean it, then some plastic primer coats (2?)... followed by VHT Vinyl Dye (black and blue) coats... again how many?... do a few coats of clear as well...Will this work? Is it good enough?

Also any pics of peoples colour combinations would be sweet, where they have painted what parts etc....

Thanks heaps in advance people :)

Ok sweet :) Hopefully I do a decent job of it...

Last thing... Matt black or gloss black? Im thinking gloss.

A semi gloss would look better imo. You want a bit of shine but not too much. Otherwise it will uumm.. look painted! I think painting interior trim looks crap, so if I was to go painting stuff I'd want it to look like it hasn't been painted. Know what I mean?

I'd say go alternating layers of gloss and matt black. I did that on my exterior window moulds (the ugly grey ones), and it came up just nice :) Cause too glossyis tacky, and too matt is just boring. :p
