After getting some quotes to remove some small dents from my commodore ranging from $50 to $75 per dent I decided to make my own dent puller . Picture 1 You will need a hot melt glue gun , a dent puller , some suction cups and a threaded hook.
Picture 2 take off the dent puller extension and slide a small nut inside and screw on the hook then screw attachment back onto the puller
Picture 3 shows the suction cup in place .
remove the suction cup from puller and put some hotmelt on it and stick it to the panel over the dent . Make sure that all traces of polish is removed from around the dent or the glue will not stick . don't worry , the hot melt will not damage the paint. let the glue set for about 10 minutes then attach the puller to the suction cup and start pulling the dent out . Don't be scared to use a fair bit of force as it takes a bit of pulling to pop them out . One word or caution , don't attempt to do this on a panel that has body filler on it as it will pull the filler out . One problem that i did encounter was that the suction cup will split where the hook goes through so you will need a few of them . I bought a pack of 6 from Bunnings for 2 bucks .If anyone can think of s better setup let me know . I pulled out 2 dents and used all 6 suction cups
