Intermittent Power no P.O.S.T (No display) is a motherboard issue. Whats happening is the capacitors on the motherboard are meant to discharge whenever the computer gets turned off, in this case they aren't always discharging fully so when you go to turn it back on, there is a power spike and no display gets shown, turn it off and unplug it from the back for 10 seconds and plug it back in to make sure it gets fully discharged will confirm this.
