Your best and cheapest place is eBay. Next from that, is a wrecker. I picked up my complete brand new LSD centre with 3.7 gears, all shimmed up nice and tight in a full hub-hub setup for $500. The bloke paid $1200 to get it built the previous month (receipts and all) but found a locker with 4.11s two weeks later and installed that instead :p lol

You can find great bargains on ebay :)

You've got a VS ute? An LSD Centre will fit out of a VN/VP/VQ/VG/VR/VS for 100% certain. You just take that diff to a diff specialist, and ask them to put the centre from that, into your car. Should cost $300 for the changeover :)

And I'm 99% certain that a live axle centre will fit straight into an IRS centre.

If your refering to the front twin piston caliper upgrade, just be sure to look at prices of doing it with a good second hand vt/z calipers and rotors. I got a set off ebay for $70. Cost me $80 i think for adaptor braided brake lines from the local brake shop and $40 for the egg rings to take up the space of the slightly ovesize rotor hub holes in the vt/z rotors. So $150 all up to make up my own kit, alot cheap than the $400-$500 they charge for kits.

Sorry guys not trying to take this off topic or anything but i removed the rear ressie on my VS Ute and well now it makes a great sound below 3500rpm that i love even if others don't because its only a V6 but how come it goes silent after like 3500-5500rpm? What causes this and whats the best investment a 2.5 Catback or Extractors?

Thanks
Matt

Cat back is the cheaper option, but i think extractors are the better thing to do, i just hate stock cast headers. Talk to exhaust shop about what sound you want when you get there, you'll be suprised what they can do.

Are there any decent/trustworthy exhaust shops these days or any i should steer clear of. I seem to be very good at getting a ****ty deal and well would like to change the luck lol. Anyone know of anyone good in Adelaide preferably down south. Would be great lol as i like the sound it has now just a little deeper and throughout the rev range would be good but it is only a V6.

Thanks Heaps
