wahhhh? do u have to pay each year to have the plates once u buy them? i just thought u bought them, $500, and then re-register ur car. and that was it..? :bang:

like grennan said, every state is different. Some states are a once off fee (in the thousands for certain plates) others are yearly.

Yeah, when my car was registered in Queensland I wanted to get M1SF1T, for the Misfits. Was going to cost to the effect of 2 grand. Vic charges 500 bucks for pretty much all plates and its a once off.
