A story on evening news said a family is South Perth had it for 35 years, and is now letting it go. The bidding was said to be over $300,000 already. I can't find which auction site it is on.

There is that added cherry of some rusty headers to sweeten the deal

No idea if the claims on this are correct or otherwise although have no reason not to take them at face value. That said, I suspect at least part of the car has been repainted at some stage. Those paint defects are well beyond the typical orange peel you got from the factory back in the day.

I agree and you don't get that from factory - even then.

I remember one of Brocks personal company cars being fully optioned t5 Director...he never held onto them long & on top of that group a was a slap together thing for homoglation purposes...seemed like he preferred other models in interviews.

Wondering if more to do with build number tripe to sell car.
