Centrelink evacuated after innocent mishap

ABC reports the Metropolitan Fire Service, Country Fire Service and local police were called to the building at Noarlunga Centre at 11.20, after a customer spilled white powder in the front area of the office, prompting an emergency evacuation.
An MFS spokeswoman said a HAZMAT crew entered the building to undertake emergency testing of the substance, quickly after staff an customers were evacuated.
"Crews did some testing and determined that it was sugar,” she said.
There were approximately 300 grams of white powder on the scene.
A spokeswoman for South Australian police said the incident was believed to be an accident.
