most 6.5 inch coaxials(or splits even) fit in the same hole as a 6inch if theyre for automotive fitment. but i was more referring to the 6.5 size fitting in the commodore pod.

Lol, Yes mate. Had them 6.5 Kenwoods in my VS. Although they sat off the factory mount point by 5mm they screwed in enough so the grille cleared by 1 mm or so.

some 6.5s need modifying to the speaker mount and to the speakers to fit. Thats if you use the vr-vs door mounts.
