Chemiweld, as in the temp fix for cooling systems to get you home if you break down 1000km from home? If yes then yep you're up for a new engine.

In a nut shell, Yes you have clogged a device up id say.
I am assuming the MIL is on !

An oil leak is never a quick fix,
But could of been an easy fix, but made it worse.

IMHO, get to a Auto Parts Store.
Grab 7 litres of oil, and a oil filter,
and drop the oil and crap you put in it !

And try that,
You have nothing to loose by trying fresh oil !

Being a VF SV6, and possibly a LFX,

Will be like Hens Teeth find.

If the Oil preassure is up,

Maybe run it for a minute, sothe new oil will circulate.

theres a alert saying low oil pressure stop engine
Other option,

Drop the new oil,
Remove the Low oil sensor and clean it in degreaser,
Wash it with fresh water,
and dry it off with compressed air if you have that available,
Re-install it and test it again.
