Pod type Air filters?

Thanks very much guys. I will stick with factory system. Which is truly better than pod filters. Because that was made for that car. I don't know why I was following those people who are installing these filters and showing gaining of power. When I had also noticed that factory system is already doing that job (cold air intake). We take them off and add our engineering. Totally agree with you.

Completely agree with this. The stock V6 intake is REALLY restrictive, having a pod frees it up, but to be effective and legal it has to be enclosed. For what it's worth, when my engine has been running for an hour, the ambient temperature in the MACE CAI box is around 26 degrees, which is a huge improvement.

I'd like to endorse this comment , I put a Mace intake on my VZ SV6 last year , and they do make a difference in making the car breath easier the factory intake is surprisingly small , they do need to be enclosed .

Just remember that the factory air box is designed to help the engine meet very strict NVH guidelines and design rules, unfortunately meeting these NVH guidelines can introduce restrictions in the various engine systems.
