Pod with LPG?

On eBay someone is selling a Ram Pod filter becuase he says he now has LPG.
I have LPG, does this mean I cannot get a Pod filter?

Sure you can use a pod, anyone can.

Just depends on the setup and if you've been tuned for LPG. If you suffer blow-backs you'll murder the pod...

i have because i blew up 2 airboxes

used to blow-back every once in a while, since i got Eagle 9mm leads it hasn't once (in about 6 months). Go the pod, but don't put it on ridiculously tight. reason for this is if you do have a blow-back, it'll blow the pod clear off (which you can just put back on again) instead of disfiguring your pod

Ive heard a while back that somone experimented with some stubby holder material around the normal tubeing to the pod. IIRC the person cut holes into the tube then slotted a stubbie holder over the top of the pipeing so it would allow the backfire to be emitted via the holes thru the stubby holder material rather than blowing the pod off?

yeh u can use a pod filter with LPG
my dad has a series to vn with LPG and a pod filter

stubby holder trick is the go...

i have one on my setup, just a few decent holes in any of the piping, reinforced so the stubby holder doesn't restrict airflow, then a stubby holder over the top



at worst you might split the stubby holder.

and street commos came out with a free stubby holder a few issues back, it was meant to be!

If you can try to place the holes between the tb and gas mixer, as the diaphram in the impco's are not all that thick.
