The extra functions are displayed by holding the mode and up buttons in while starting the car then releasing. Then press the mode button to cycle through the various displays. It contains things such as coolant temp, battery volts, digital speedo, digital tacho etc.
The p-mode just tells you weather you have your parkers on or not. It doesn't force them to be on all the time. Some cars such as ex-telstra cars have them on all the time though.

??
Dose it keep parkers on all the time regardless of the switch

not sure about the park lights part but take it down to holden, they plug the tech2 on and get rid of speed alert and put on digital speed instead.
Cost me $30 and 15min to wait.

nah its police mode.
there is 2 ways to put it on and it put an electronic signal out and it stopps every rader and speed cammera.
one was is do 200km'h
or drive alone at 100 km's and put it into reverse.
that should get the police mode on

That would actually be funny if it didn't take 5 minutes to puzzle out what you are saying.

Sounds like there are a few people here who know a bit about the trip computer. In "diagnostic" mode do you know what all of the items are? Some are obvious some are not. Could somebody list them all or point to where they may be listed, in particular VX commodore Thanks Andrew
