Popping noise when turning

Hey all! So a couple of mechanics have no idea what I’m talking about with this issue. My commy makes a little popping sound when turning corners etc, it’s not constantly there comes and goes, wondering if anyone’s got any clue as to what it may be! My old girl is currently out of rego and needing to be put passed so I’m trying to do what work I can before sending her to the mechanic. Cheers!

We did think that, but can’t find anything. It started after we’d gone through road works were the road hadn’t been set properly so loads of little stones we’re flicking out of the car, but we’ve checked over everything and can’t find anything.

Yes, have taken all the wheels off and gone over everything.

Maybe lost the rock since the last time you heard it try taking it out do a few turns see if it happens again

It’s still there. Just comes and goes. Hubbies VT does the same thing too. So not sure if it’s a rock or something else.

Does it happen at low or high speed? Half wheel turn or full or both.
