hey guys, ive just bought my ute and not sure if its chipped or not, just wondering if anyone knows how i can find this out, or where to look

take the PCM out, und the cover for the memcal & take it out & have a look at the silver sticker under the blue cover, post the codes on it & ill let ya know

doctor bob...if you want to replace the chip in the computer with a power chip does there have to be a knock sensor on the engine???

if you get a standard hsv memcal then yes a knock sensor is required
if you get a real preformance memcal then more than likely no, i very rarely use them in my memcals, they hinder performance too much in a lot of cases
