power steering rack busted metal pipe

hi all. i have managed to pick up a power steering rack for my VH but one of the long metal oil lines has got a break in it half way down. are replacement pipes available or can a flexible pipe be used to replace it.thanks

That would be the pressure line. They are available at most auto parts stores, and no, a flexible line will not do the job unless it's a proper pressure hose with the right fittings. About $30 should buy one.

yea replace it properly. i bent my metal pressure line when we pulled out the motor, so before raiding me brothers car i tried cutin up the pipe and using high pressure hose and double clamped everything got it all connected and it worked well until the second corner :( . just picture a garden hose turned on flat out outta control haha :thumbsup:
