Hey all, just finished upgrading valvetrain(crane cams 1.8 rollers, studs,guides & pushrods Pac1219 springs) it's down to the preload procedure now and I'm not sure how to do it ...so can anyone pls help point me in the right direction

simple way is when u have a closed valve do up the rocker until it touches the valve and the pushrod that is zero preload, now do up the rocker bolt until it stops tight and count the amount of turns u do with the bolt that is how much preload u have on the valve, check that amount of turns with the stock gear on there so u have the same amount of turns again with the new gear, or if u have an adjustable pushrod to check then u just do up the rocker and adjust the pushrod until its touching the arm and measure the length of the pushrod and then add the amount of preload u need to that measurement and the new pushrods should be that length...
