problem – Roof Mounted Rear Seat Entertainment

I have a VE with a factory fitted rear seat entertainment (mounted on the roof). My problem is I can drop the screen, put in a disc and the system plays the sound; however, the screen is blank.
I have disconnected the battery for about a minute, give or take. I have also disconnected the fuse in the boot but still nothing seems to get the screen to power up.
I would appreciate any help you guys can provide. I have the owners manual on disc and there seems to be nothing on this problem.

Check the loom on the player. Wiring runs from the screen to the interface module (metal box with tons of wires coming out). If any of those wires are damaged etc the screen wont work.

Also check the wiring running from the player to the headunit down the "a" pillar.

If those are both fine your screen is stuffed and needs to be replaced. You can buy a new screen from holden.
