Decided to pull apart my level 2 dash on my VS and replace the cog. All went well odometer is now working, however my RPM gauge has completely stopped. Any ideas?

Note: i did happen to slightly scratch the green backing(with metal lines) on the cluster, would this cause malfunctions like this?

Thanks in advance.

have a close look at that scratch, chances are you ahve severed a track on the PCB board.

you can try scratching the clear coat back gently on either side and soldering or get a pen from dicksmith that has conductive paint in it to touch it up,

it will be a fiddely job, your other options are a jumper wire or go to an electronist.

Got it working, i hadn't severed the PCB board thankfully, so i decided to pull the thing fully apart again and put it back together, and now she's working. I'm thinking i may not have tightened the nut enough on one of the connecters that touch the board.

Thanks heaps for your reply :)
