[VIC] Process to register an unregistered vehicle.

So I know it clearly has to pass a rwc inspection, but when the car goes into Vic roads is that before or after a rwc is obtained? And what exactly do Vic roads do if the car has a rwc cert, what could they possibly look at? And what (if anything) do they pick on? And what happens if they pick on something while the cars rwc? I took my vp there a few months ago to declare an engine change and it took 2 workers to find the engine number even though I had pointed it out several times. Anyway, I'm just curious as to what the process is.

geez I love s.a. if the car was last registered within the last 5yrs, you just gotta go in fill in the form with all details pay the money and your done.

Well if you work it out, you actually pay more. I pay $575 for 12 months in VIC, you pay $920 for 12 months. Thank god I live in VIC.

You pay $230 for 3months. 12/3=4. 4x230=$920
