Programming a new key.

i heard if u get a key blank and put it into a unprogramed head, when u start the igintion it will program the key. Is there any truth to this or is it bulshit?

yeah thats a whole lot of bullshit, well for commodores anyways

It only cost me $30 bucks to have a new key programed and only took two minutes to do. I got a blank key for free because when i bought the car it only came with 1 key. Had mine done at holden.
