Question for VY Calais owners

OK, the VZ Calais owners have told me the stereo controls on the steering wheel are illuminated when the lights are turned on.

What about the VY Calais - do the controls light up on your cars please?

Do the VZ steering wheel controls fit the VY?

No they dont fit, the plug set up is changed from two to a single from memory

I would be talking if they Fit "Mechanically" so to speak, As in will they fit?

I am running complete after market stereo, And will be making my own cables from the controls to the Head Unit as it's aftermarket.

So they illuminated after VY series 2 Calais?

I converted mine to VZ clockspring & harness spliced in., see other threads for how I did it , not that easy but is achievable....
