radiator cracked

what is the cost of a new radiator for a vr mine has split on the top of the tank bloody plastic. :b:

depends where you are but a good price with warranty is $250, dont buy second hand, its like buying second hand brake pads....no point

On Ebay they go for well under $200 and if you live in the big smoke you can pick up and save freight.

this is pretty nomal, as the heat causes this in the top tank. Don't get a new one, go to a radiator specialist and they will claen the radiator out, and fit a new top tank, it's the best and the cheapest, don't get a 2nd-hand one, you never know what you'll get...

if its the plastic channel on the side.
mine did it just 2mnths ago where the fan mounts on..just went to loacal radiator bloke in town, $160 cleaned flushed and pressure test and new plastic channel.

i had a bit of **** in one or 2 of the channels but all clean now.
